Final Task - Planning Blog: Script

  _______________ Act 1 Script: Scene 1: MC: “Y’know this day started like any other. Me waking up, and just doing my thing. I live alone so, there isn’t anyone to bother me. Sometimes, I feel alone in this world.” Scene transition to bathroom. Scene 2: MC: “I went and brushed my teeth, flossed, and took a nice cold shower. It was soothing and relaxing, I don’t typically like to be stressed at all.” Scene transition back to bedroom. Scene 3: MC: “I put on the usual white tee, Adidas slacks, and nike sandals as I went downstairs to eat breakfast.” Scene transition the kitchen. Scene 4: MC: “Then I saw myself, standing in a kitchen. It couldn’t be a mirror as this person was wearing a whole different get-up.” Alt MC: “Heya, me from another timeline!” MC: “WHAT!?” Movie opening intro plays.

Final Task - Planning Blog: Title Design

_____________________  The opening credits of my film will appear as the screen cycles through rooms in a house. The house will be in bright colors so the text will be in Courier in black and bold. Working Title: Man meets Man Courier and Bold font. MAN MEETS MAN The title will slowly fade in from left to right. Title will fade out after 3 to 5 seconds. Title screen will more than likely be bright so every text appearing on the title will be black and bold. DIRCECTED BY STANLEY MICHEL  Will appear straight after the title fades out.

  ______________ The location of the film will take place in my house. The participant will be myself. Filming will start January 21st and will last until January 28th My health as of now is good, so no delays are planned.

Making this a comedy.

The King of Comedy title is displayed along credits to the actors, producers, and directors of this movie. - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Just a still image of hands attempting to grab something on the train. - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the ou It doesn't establish it as a comedy if we're looking at it from a purely on its opening sequence. The unnerving music paired with the hands make it seem like it was a horror movie.

   - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The movie title is displayed + credits to the actors, producers, and directors. - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The movie begins with a close-up of a car's interior while it's driving down the street. - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the ou It plays upbeat and silly music fitting for that of a comedy. The text font is big and slightly cartoonish which immediately lets the watcher know that they are watching a comedy.

  Welcome back to the blog! Hope you had a good day so far. Today, we're researching the Art of the Title website. How it works and etc. More specifically, we're going to talk about how it helped me with my upcoming film. The site has plenty of titles and opening sequences of movies for all genres. Whether it's comedy to horror. The site also has ease of access which also massively helps with research. This site has also helped me source from alot of comedy films to gain inspiration.
